Ruthann Howell, CEO/President

Ruthann became CEO of Wellspring Family Services in 1990, bringing a wealth of experience in managing human service agencies. As CEO/President she manages 150+ staff and 200+ volunteers at Wellspring Family Services locations throughout King County. Before coming to Wellspring Family Services, Ruthann was the director of the Salvation Army's Catherine Booth House and director of Salvation Army social services. She also has direct service experience working with battered women and their children.

Ruthann was a co-chair of the Coalition for the Homeless, a member of the Mayor's Task Force on Homelessness and a United Way Campaign Cabinet Member. She is a founding board member of the Executive Alliance of local non-profit organization leaders. Ruthann holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Washington.

Kathleen Campbell, Chief Business Development Officer

Kathleen joined Wellspring Family Services in September 2012. Kathleen works with Wellspring Counseling and Wellspring EAP on developing and finding new avenues for growth to further support the mission of the organization. She plays an important role in helping to build new relationships with other community organizations in the area. Outside of Wellspring, Kathleen serves as a Board Member for the MBA Women International organization as well as a member at Social Venture Partners. She studied at Willamette and received her Bachelors degree in business and holds an MBA from Seattle University.

Kelly Pearson, Chief Development Officer

Kelly came to Wellspring Family Services in March 2008. In her position, Kelly leads the effort to engage and involve the community in Wellspring's efforts to end family homelessness and to build a community where all children thrive. Outside of the office, she is an active member of the National Development Officers Association as well as the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Kelly received her undergrad degree in economics from the University of Puget Sound and her Masters degree in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University. 

Patrick Duff, Chief Financial Officer

Patrick joined Wellspring Family Services in July, 2013 as CFO with responsibility for the accounting, finance and IT functions.  Patrick brings extensive experience to Wellspring as a CFO for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.  He has also served on a variety of not-for-profit boards in multiple roles.Patrick is a Certified Management Accountant.  He received a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from McGill University and an MBA for the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.

R. Keith Myers, Vice President, Clinical and Training Services

Keith has been with Wellspring Family Services since April 1986. As VP of Clinical and Training Services for Wellspring Counseling, he is responsible for approximately 65 staff in four branches offering a full range of individual, couples and family counseling services. He has been central in developing the agency's new focus on infant mental health.

Keith has taught extensively on the subject of adolescent treatment and suicide and is an affiliate instructor for the UW School of Social Work. He is a leader in local, state and national professional societies in clinical social work. Keith is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Washington.

Sandy Lowe, Vice President, Community Services

Sandy has been with Wellspring Family Services since August 1990 and in her present position since 1992. She has worked in human services for 25 years. At Wellspring, Sandy oversees all Community Services, including domestic violence intervention; homeless children's services (including specialized homeless childcare); and family stabilization services for homeless families and those at risk of homelessness. She has been instrumental in implementing the "housing first" program model for ending family homelessness. Sandy currently serves on the United Way of King County's Impact Council on Older Adults. Sandy holds a Master's degree in Human Development from the School of Behavioral Science at the University of Chicago.
